School Overview
Academy of International Studies Elementary School is an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme that prepares students to be global citizens, appreciate diversity, and perform at the highest level. Together, with families and the school community, the Primary Years Programme is focused on building each student’s confidence and self-motivation. Students are challenged to think for themselves and take charge of their learning. Students are inspired to respond to challenges with an open mind and to be confident in their identities by learning through six themes of global significance: who we are, where we are in place and time, how we express ourselves, how the world works, how we organize ourselves, and sharing the planet.
