and Other Support Organizations

You are not alone in this process! RSCO and the other organizations listed on this webpage offer RSCO School Choice application assistance and general information about School Choice and your options. Reach out to talk through your options, get the information you need, and select schools and programs that work best for your family and give your child the best chance for a placement. Hours of operation vary among sites. Please call ahead to schedule an appointment (in-person or virtual).

• In-Application Messaging: Message the Parent Resource Center through the RSCO School Choice on-line application. Visit the RSCO Application website to log-in or create a new account to access the in-application message feature.
• In-Person Assistance: 450 Columbus Blvd., Hartford, CT 06103. Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm by appointment
• Parking
• On-street parking on Columbus Blvd. is only available in 2-hour intervals on a paid basis from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Parking is strictly prohibited from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. due to rush hour traffic.
• Municipal parking is available for a fee at the Morgan Street Garage, located on Morgan Street. After parking in the Morgan Street Garage, take the elevator down to the street level and use the cross walk to walk across the street to the public entrance of 450 Columbus Blvd.

Language Interpretation and Translation Assistance

Assistance with the RSCO online school choice application is available at RSCO’s Parent Resource Center, Hartford Public Library branches, or satellite sites located throughout Hartford. Spanish versions of the Family Reference Guide are available.

Spanish language assistance with the RSCO online application:

• Schedule an appointment for in-person assistance at the Parent Resource Center, 450 Columbus Blvd., Hartford, CT 06103, Upon arrival at security, have security call the Parent Resource Center at 860-713-6990.

RSCO provides assistance in the following languages through a translation/interpretation service:

• Arabic, Chinese, French, Haitian Creole, Hindi, Korean, Pashto, Polish, and Portuguese.
• Language assistance is available using interpretation services at 860-713-6990.

In partnership with the RSCO Parent Resource Center, RSCO’s Primary School Choice Application Sites provide additional locations for families to access application assistance while completing their RSCO School Choice Application.
