About the Academy of Aerospace
The Academy of Aerospace and Engineering is a 6 – 12 Magnet school with distinct middle school (6-8) and high school (9-12) programs that build upon each other to help students gain skills and unique experiences in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) that prepare them for college and high-demand professional careers. Our diverse student body comes from more than 42 cities and towns in the Greater Hartford area, representing urban, suburban, and rural districts
Building on Greater Hartford’s strong engineering, aerospace, and other STEM industries, the Academy provides students with unique, hands-on professional experiences and the confidence to succeed. The ability to make connections between mathematics and science empowers students with knowledge, intellectual curiosity and motivation that extend beyond the classroom.
